INTRODUCTION: This is a course in miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only, that you can elect what you want to take at a given time.
The curriculum you set up is determined by what you think you are, and what you believe the relationship of others is to you. In the formal teaching situation, these questions may be totally unrelated to what you think you are teaching. Yet, it is impossible not to use the content of any situation on behalf of what you really teach and therefore really learn. To this the verbal of your teaching is quite irrelevant. It may coincide with it, or it may not. It is the teaching underlying what you say, that teaches you. “As you teach so shall you learn”. What you believe you will teach.
This is inevitable… teaching reinforces what you believe about yourself. Its fundamental purpose is to diminish self-doubt. Everyone that follows the world’s curriculum, and everyone here does, follows it until he changes his mind, and teaches solely to convince himself that he is what he is not. Into this hopeless learning situation God sends His teachers. And as they teach His lessons of joy and hope, their learning finally becomes complete.
This curriculum is for ACIM student’s….You are not perfect, or you would not be here. Yet your mission is to become perfect here, and so you must teach perfection over and over and over and over, in many ways, until you have learned it.
Who are gods teachers? Anyone who chooses to be one. His qualifications consist solely in this; somehow, somewhere he made a deliberate choice in which he did not see his interests as apart from someone else’s.
They come from all over the world. They come from all religions and from no religion. The Call is universal. It goes on all the time everywhere. Many hear it, but few will answer.
There is a course for every teacher of God. The form of the course varies greatly, but the content never changes. Its central theme is always, “you are guiltless”. It can be taught by actions or thoughts; in words or soundless. In any language or in no language. In any place or time or manner.
This course is for a special form of a universal course. There are many thousand of other forms, all with the same outcome.
While your religion is a matter of personal experience, it is most important that you should be exposed to the knowledge of a vast number of other religious experiences (the diverse interpretations of other diverse mortals) to the end that you may prevent your religious life from becoming egocentric, circumscribed, selfish, and unsocial.

A miracle is a correction introduced into false thinking by me.
It acts as a catalyst, breaking up erroneous perception and reorganizing it properly.

There is a law that is applicable to every conceivable phase of human experience. No situation or condition can present itself to mortal thought which can possibly exist outside of the direct influence of this infinite law. The effect of the operation of this law is always to correct and govern, to harmonize and adjust. We are not responsible for the carrying out of this law. In fact we can Nothing in any way to increase, stimulate, or intensify the action of this law. It is constantly present, always operative, and will never fail us when rightly appealed to.
The great hope of the future lies in the possibility of education that would pay more attention to the work of teaching youth how to engage in life planning and character progression. To foster and further the supreme purpose of life and the development of a majestic and well balanced personality. To teach moral discipline in place of so much self-gratification.
Into his presence I now enter.
Tonight we enter into His Presence, serenely unaware of everything except perfect Love. There is a silence where the world cannot intrude. There is an ancient peace you carry in your heart. Put away your thoughts of who you think you are and leave a clean and open space within your mind where God has always been. The thought of Him is never absent. He was there all the time. You can exchange all suffering for joy this very moment. We are open to a fresh experience that sheds light on all that we have learned tonight and prepares us for what we have yet to learn. Nothing is needed but this idea to light our mind. We wait in anticipation and quiet joy.
Steady our feet Father. Let all doubts be quiet and our mind be still. Speak to us. Lead our practicing.
And if we stumble, you will raise us up.
If we wander off, you will call us back.
God is love and therefore so am I.
